Text prompt or reference photo?

Use text-to-3D when you are inventing something that does not exist yet. Use image-to-3D when you already have a clear photo, product packshot, or concept art and want a mesh that matches it. For print or game pipelines, download a standard mesh and plan on cleanup in Blender or your engine. For newer splat viewers, try TripoSplat on the image path.

What you get back

Outputs are textured models you can preview in the studio viewer, then save to your gallery. Formats are chosen for common DCC and engine workflows. Exact options depend on the generator you pick. AI meshes are strong concepts; production assets often need a topology and thickness pass before print or rigging.

Habits that improve the first mesh

Describe a single object, not a whole room. Name the material early. For photos, center the subject, light it evenly, and keep the background quiet. Extra angles help when Hunyuan multi-view is available. Tiny subjects, heavy reflections, and busy lifestyle shots reconstruct poorly.

Credits and access

You can open both 3D apps without signing in. Generating spends monthly credits on a paid plan. Plans and credit amounts are listed on /pricing. Compare two generators only after the prompt or photo is already concrete.
